Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a mom to adult children and a proud grandma navigating life with my messy, beautiful blended family. My journey is filled with love, resilience, and a whole lot of real-life moments that don’t always fit into neat little boxes—but that’s exactly what makes it meaningful.

One of my greatest joys is spending time outdoors, camping with my family and chasing adventures with both friends and loved ones. Whether it’s sitting around a campfire, exploring new places, or making spontaneous roadside stops, I believe the best memories are often the unplanned ones.

My adult son, who has multiple disabilities including septo-optic dysplasia, autism, and seizure disorders, is a huge part of my world. Traveling with him brings its own set of challenges and beautiful moments, and I’ll be sharing pieces of that journey here. You’ll also get a glimpse into life in “Gunnar’s World,” my spirited 3-year-old grandson who was born with a cleft lip and palate and continues to inspire me every day.

Around here, you’ll find stories from the campground, reflections from our trips, and everyday moments that make up our life together. I also have a soft spot for crime podcasts and shows, love exploring ghost towns, and can never resist a quirky roadside attraction—like the world’s largest frying pan in Long Beach, WA.

This space is a mix of heart, humor, and honesty—a place to share our adventures, our challenges, and the beauty in between.

Thanks for being here and being part of the journey.
